VICKY MCCOWN

President and Executive Director

Vicky is a Native Texan, raised in Liberty Hill, Texas. She served in youth ministry for over twenty years and has a passion for helping others. She devotes her time to help students and families that need a helping hand. After working at LHISD for almost a decade and her role at the local food pantry, she saw a need for community services to help at-risk and homeless neighbors. “In 2007, my husband and I opened our home and hearts to our first young adult that was experiencing homelessness.” On another occasion, Vicky and her husband provided shelter and mentorship to a young man that lost his parents while he was in prison. They had the opportunity to help him re-enter society, get his license, job and be a devoted father.  Seeing the success of these young adults with love and guidance, she was inspired to help others.  This inspiration was the catalyst for creating Community Pathways Organization.

Vicky and her husband have raised three children, added multiple young adults to their family and hosted a number of Foreign Exchange Students over the years.  She receive a certificate in ministry from Austin Presbyterian Seminary in March 2021. She resides in Canyon Lake, Texas with her husband.
